After 17 years of improving teamwork, we are announcing that the Co-browsing feature in the Brosix Desktop Messenger will be discontinued in a forthcoming update. While it was once possible for users to surf the internet together in real time using this Brosix functionality, we feel now is the right time to say goodbye.
Why Are We Retiring Co-Browsing
This decision reflects our focus on providing tools that better meet customers’ communication needs.
To ensure that everyone can benefit from enhanced cooperation, Brosix already offers powerful alternatives to Co-browsing, such as Screen Sharing and Screenshots. These features allow users to share views, guide others, and provide visual interactions much faster than Co-browsing, without any associated inefficiencies.
Transition to Enhanced Features Made Easy
The Co-browsing feature will still be accessible in version 4.8 of the Brosix Desktop Application, but it will be phased out in future updates.
Users who attempt to access it on earlier versions will find that the request simply won’t go through. They’ll enjoy a smooth transition without any annoying error messages popping up.
More Useful and Reliable Tools Ahead
By securing safe, efficient, and user-friendly features, we are committed to improving Brosix in more than one direction. Our solid experience plus the feedback received from each of you are stepping stones to achieving this goal.
We continue to strive to meet and exceed your expectations while keeping up with industry standards and following the latest innovations. Moreover, innovative features that reflect the new digital realities are coming your way soon.
We’re excited to continue evolving Brosix and provide functionalities that will enable you to communicate seamlessly and boost productivity.
Thank you for joining us in this next phase as we work to make Brosix an even more valuable tool for your team’s success.
